A grand inauguration ceremony was held today at Damodar Hari Chaphekar Government Industrial Training Institute (ITI), Pimpri Chinchwad, marking the launch of 10 industry-oriented short-term skill training courses along with a newly constructed modern classroom.

CNC Operator – Turning
CNC Operator – Vertical Machining Centre
Electrical Technician
Jam, Jelly, and Ketchup Processing

Fitter (SCVT)
The event was inaugurated by Mr. Sujit Shriram Vishwakarma, while Mr. Suhas Sinalkar, a renowned industrialist, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. The ceremony was presided over by Mr. S. D. Sabale, Principal of the institute.
The program was skillfully anchored by Mr. Mahajan, with the introductory address delivered by Group Instructor Mr. Prashant Gawari and the vote of thanks proposed by Mrs. Bhople. Group Instructor Mr. Vitthal Bhumkar shared his reflections, while Mr. Sachin Pawade coordinated the entire event. Mrs. Pandey managed the lighting and sound arrangements.
The function was attended by departmental heads, office staff, around 250 students, and Class IV employees.
In his address, Chief Guest Mr. Suhas Sinalkar emphasized that these specialized short-term courses will equip students with practical, industry-relevant skills, thereby significantly enhancing their employability and professional competence.
दिनांक ६ जून २०२५ रोजी दा . ह. चापेकर शासकीय आय.टी.आय., पिंपरी-चिंचवड येथे थाटामाटात शिवराज्याभिषेक दिन साजरा करण्यात आला. या विशेष प्रसंगी विद्यार्थ्यांनी छत्रपती शिवाजी महाराजांच्या जीवनकार्यावर आधारित भाषणं, कविता आणि नाट्य सादरीकरण केलं.
कार्यक्रमाची सुरुवात दीपप्रज्वलन व शिवस्मारकाला अभिवादनाने झाली. प्रमुख पाहुण्यांनी शिवाजी महाराजांच्या दूरदृष्टी, शौर्य व जनकल्याणकारी धोरणांवर प्रेरणादायी मार्गदर्शन केलं.
हा कार्यक्रम विद्यार्थ्यांमध्ये राष्ट्रभक्ती, इतिहासाची जाणीव आणि नेतृत्त्वगुण जागवणारा ठरला.
बाडेन-वुर्टेंबर्ग येथून आलेल्या शैक्षणिक शिष्टमंडळाने ITI पिंपरी-चिंचवडला भेट दिली.
महाराष्ट्रातील व्यावसायिक शिक्षणपद्धती, अभ्यासक्रम व मूल्यांकन प्रक्रियेवर चर्चा झाली.
जर्मनीतील स्टुटगार्ट, कार्लस्रुहे व म्युलहाईम येथील शाळांची माहिती त्यांनी दिली.
